SwingIT

A simple but fun 8 bit arcade game.

You swing around your green pin (top down).

Click the screen to move your pin (you will detach from your pin).

If your pin is in front of your direction of motion, you will glide for a second, and then reattach as you pass it.

If your pin is behind your direction of motion, you will glide continuously. Replace your pin to catch yourself.

Don't hit the red border.

Kill the red guys by hitting them with your string.

Collect the blinky thingys to fill your bar.

If your bar is full, press space to reverse your spin direction.

You might have noticed that this is a .jar file. SwingIT was produced entirely from scratch. Game engine and all. Thanks to Majoolwip's 2D Java Game Engine YouTube Series for getting me through the game engine part.
